With more than a million inhabitants, Nairobi in Kenya entertains visitors from all over the world and maintains a cosmopolitan atmosphere. In Kenya it is possible to leave Nairobi, a city with a thriving business heart powered by the latest information technology, and drive in just a few hours to a place where life is lived in accordance to tradition and custom, where warriors armed with spears drive cattle into thorn brush enclosures to protect them from lions at night. But much more than many other country on earth Kenya has maintained many of its traditional cultures. Indeed, in Kenya tradition and custom is not seen as being linked to the past, but as being an amorphous and evolving part of everyday life. The boundless wilderness and big game of this region has long attracted adventure seekers from all over the globe. No other African country can boast such an incredible range of landscapes, unique geographical features and species.

Dar es Salaam is the largest town in Tanzania and is located on the Indian Ocean on one of the largest natural harbors in the world. The city itself is full of life with an international airport and is a convenient point from which to start a safari to the southern circuit or to visit the islands of Pemba, Zanzibar or Mafia. Some of Tanzania's best beaches are also to be found just south of Dar. Mount Kilimanjaro is located at the north/eastern tip of Tanzania. For the adventurous, a climb of Mount Kilimanjaro is a must, taking you through the mists of equatorial jungle to reach the snows and breath-taking views from the summit. The seas around Zanzibar, Mafia and the Pemba Channel are some of the best waters for diving in the Indian Ocean. The surrounding coral hosts an impressive amount of colourful fish, such as hawksbill and sea turtles.

The "Little Switzerland of Central America" has a strong democracy and the highest standard of living on the continent. Thankfully its conservation program is also one of the most aggressive, for although Costa Rica is a small country, its bio-diversity is staggering. In cloud forests resplendent with ferns, palms and dazzling orchids, hummingbirds and butterflies flit from blossom to blossom, and there are more species of birds than in all of North America. Guanacaste is a popular tourist area due its amazing landscapes, inactive volcanoes (such as Rincón de la Vieja, Tenorio, Miravalles) and several protected zones, national parks and wildlife refuges. The province of Puntarena's primary areas of attraction include Jaco Beach, the closest beach to San Jose, Quepos / Manuel Antonio, known for its water sports and the Gulf of Nicoya and the Southern Pacific, both famous for their wealth of nature attractions.

Philippines - Tagaytay Tour
Book this trip

Tagaytay, considered as the country's second summer capital because of its crisp and cool climate all year around, is a treasure box of pleasure points in by itself. At nightfall, one sees the lake sparkle with the pinpoint lights of fishing boats. It is a perfect picnic spot. Tagaytay, however, is more than a picnic haunt. The place has given rise to many congregational houses and retreat centers. It is also conductive to spiritual meditation, that is earned yet another title for being the "Center of Spiritual Retreat." Thus, the masterpiece of nature that is Tagaytay is a not to be missed item in a tourist itinerary. It should always include a visit to the Volcano Island, and its enumerable side spots, animals, and nature.

Tagaytay City, located 2,500 feet above sea level enjoys a cool and invigorating climate characterized by a relatively low temperature, low humidity, and abundant rainfall. Average temperature is 22.7 degrees Celsius. For this reason, Tagaytay with its cool weather, balmy winds and foggy mists is called the "second summer capital" of the country after Baguio City.

New South Wales

Sydney sits on one of the most beautiful harbours in the world. This vibrant, cosmopolitan gateway to Australia is a captivating city packed with natural and man-made charms. Its superb beaches, historic enclaves, top-flight restaurants and surrounding attractions all combine to make it an essential Australian experience. A natural wonderland not far from Sydney, the Blue Mountains is a spectacular area of national park wilderness, dramatic canyons and caves, sheer-cliffed valleys, pretty stone and timber towns, and world-class guesthouses not to be missed. For the quintessential Outback adventure head for Broken Hill, a quirky, historic silver mining town straight out of the movie The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Home of art galleries and the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Broken Hill is surrounded by prolific desert wildlife.

Northern Territory

The Northern Territory is a dramatic, timeless place of vast horizons, rainforests and water holes, red sand and spinifex grass plains. From Kakadu to Uluru, or Ayers Rock as it’s more commonly known, it’s a land of icons, filled with real Outback characters and Aboriginal heritage. But you’ll never ever know if you never ever go.

Western Australia

The ‘undiscovered state’, Western Australia, is too far flung for most east coast Aussies to visit and virtually undiscovered by tourists from North America. But despite the tyranny of distance more people are making their way to the far side of the continent and going home gushing about the places they’ve seen and the things they’ve done. So, now it’s your turn to snorkel around desert islands, swim with the whale sharks and dolphins, and to tour the wineries, historic towns and national parks bursting with wildflowers.

The most popular are education/expedition cruises where stops are made at research stations and animal communities along the coast.

British Columbia
Book this trip

British Columbia's outstanding feature is its variety: of scenery, climates, and cultures. The wide-open ranch lands of the High Country and Kamloops contain the last vestiges of North America's legendary Wild West, with cowboys riding herd, prospectors staking claims, cattle drives crossing the high plains, and Indians struggling to reclaim ancestral lands. The rough-hewn mountains of the Cariboo and Chilcotin regions are topped with glaciers running off into hidden lakes. Alpine meadows, buried under snow all winter, burst forth with a profusion of blossoms every summer.

The rugged fjords and mistyislands along the coast from the Queen Charlotte Islands to Howe Sound are home to the world's only resident population of orcas, most of the world's remaining old-growth temperate rain forests, and some of North America's earliest human settlements. The arid Okanagan Valley is filled with fruit trees and surrounded by vineyards and wineries on the hillsides, and it boasts sagebrush and sand deserts. And hundreds of lakes, sheltered beaches, and majestic mountains stretch across the province, separating each region from the others yet interlacing them all.
